The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
